The Tandem Skydiving Gift Voucher gives someone the opportunity to experience the thrill of freefall on their first jump for only £230. The training for the tandem jump is in the form of a briefing from an instructor which takes about half an hour and then into the plane and up into the skies. Your voucher recipient will jump from 10,000 - 12,000 feet attached to an instructor using a specially designed dual harness. The instructor controls the freefall, parachute opening and landing, leaving them free to enjoy the view and the sensation of freefall. They will be able to help the instructor to steer the parachute after opening. All our prices include the compulsory provisional membership of the British Parachute Association, which entitles them to a Third Party liability insurance of £2,000,000. |
Because a Tandem skydive Gift Voucher does not require an intensive ground school (Apx 30 minutes to 1 hour(remember it's the Tandem Instructor on their back who does all the work, the student, apart from looking at the scenery does not have a lot to do during the descent)). If the Tandem Student has paid for a cameraman to film the jump, he/she can always smile for the camera). It is best to book at least 2 weeks in advance if you want them to be able to carry out a tandem descent.Tandem skydiving can be carried out by people with certain disabilities with the approval of their doctor, the chief instructor and the tandem instructor. |
