The Royal Berks Charity is looking for adventurers who would like to help raise funds for the Royal Berks Hospital. Our mass skydive experience is taking place on Sunday 15th September at Chiltern Aerodrome just north of Reading.
You can take part in our mass skydive and raise funds for your ward or department in the trust or one of the many campaigns in place at the moment –
The Faxitron Campaign
The ICU Ultrasound Scanner Appeal
The Fertility Scanner Appeal
The Lung Function Unit Appeal
‘Robbie’ the Robot
The Audiology Campaign
The General Fund
You can still jump for us if you’re not free over the weekend in September at any other time of the year. Just register using the link below and we’ll help you with your fundraising.
Jane Woodhull from the Berkshire Cancer Centre said - “I finally did my sky dive last week. The crew at the airfield were brilliant, so calm and professional and gave really clear instructions. I felt completely safe and actually what I had to do was really easy It was absolutely amazing! It is so beautiful and so peaceful up there and is definitely one of the best things I have ever done. I smiled all the way down to the ground and I would definitely do it all again."
Why a ‘Tandem’ Skydive? Well, from the moment you take off in the plane to the moment you land on your feet you are harnessed to a British Parachute Association (BPA) qualified instructor. This form of skydiving is one of the most popular because you only need to attend a 30 – 40 minute training session on the morning of the Skydive and after that you are ready to go.
Taking part couldn’t be easier. All you need to do is pay a £50.00 deposit to secure your place and cover the necessary insurances. Then create a page with Just Giving using the following link http://www.justgiving.com/royalberkscharity and raise a minimum of £400 by Friday 6th September, turn up on the day and everything will be taken care of. Please note that you must raise the £400* to take part, however we’re here to support you so you can take part in this amazing challenge and help patients benefit from your endeavour.
If you would like a copy of our sponsorship form which you can customise, please contact us and we will arrange to send it to your email address.
