P.s glad the plan about the mile high club worked Ralph went a light shade of red.

I wish to thank all at The London Parachute Club for a fantastic day on Sunday.

I am still on a high from my tandem jump, the grin still hasn't left my face. I am definately going to do it again, probably next year.

My thanks especially to my instructor Jerry, if you get the chance, please tell him that I hope he's recovered from the heavy landing (we didn't slide at all) and that he can still have those kids he was after !!!!! If I get the chance to jump with him again I promise to lose some more weight first.

I realise that to all of you it is a common day occurance to jump out of an areoplane, but for me it was something I had only dreamed about.

Hi Martin,

I just like to say thank you so much for such a great day on Saturday. (I don’t know if you remember me – the girl with the brown plaits who jumped Sat 4 th Aug) I absolutely can not wait to do it again. I’m hoping to do another one for my birthday which is in November.

Please pass on my thanks again to Ian and Steve as they definitely made it a memorable day for me!!

I know this is really cheeky, but, I wonder if you could ask Steve if it would be possible for him to print out a really lovely picture he took of my little girl and her friend with Ian.

Going back to the sky diving. When does the jumping season finish? Would November be too late in the year to jump? (How eager am I?!)

I did my first RAPS jump on Sunday and just wanted to let you know how excellent I thought the whole thing was.  Rob is a fantastic teacher and I felt surprisingly relaxed and confident after doing the training on Saturday.  I thought the atmosphere in the drop zone was great on Sunday, especially with the mix of people from students and club members.  And the jump itself was incredible, I hope I'll be back for the second go soon.

Now that I've done my first jump can you let me know how long the training lasts before I have to do it again, and is that time renewed after each jump ?

Got my first two solo S/L jumps done, really enjoyed watching the experienced jumpers and the tandems, and thanks to you and the radio I made a stand-up landing right on the DZ in front of the spectators! What more could you ask for??!!

I'd just like to take the opportunity to say how much I enjoyed the RAPS course on Sat 24th March! It was a real shame about the weather, but that couldn't be helped.

I really thought that the instruction from Rob was first rate and enthusiastic, so much so I've been practising my spread stable position and emergency count in the garden!

I'll be at the DZ bright and early this Sunday (Weather permitting!) and i'm really looking forward to progressing through the training.

Just wanted to say, a huge thanks again for helping me realise one of my lifelong dreams.  I had such an amazing time on Sat 30^th Sept.  Every time I think about it I get a real buzz.  The guys were fantastic and did a great job of relaxing everyone on the way up.  I remember thinking that normally I would be feeling really sick and nervous but although I was nervous I think I was more excited.  I haven’t been able to describe how amazing the free fall is to anyone very successfully just that it was awesome! When the chute opened the nearest comparison I could think of is being on a ski lift past the tree line where all you hear is silence except a slight whirr from the cable/ripple from the chute and you have the most amazing views.  The DVD and photos have been great too as a few people thought I would bottle out, but I have the evidence to prove otherwise!  Funnily enough when I challenged the doubters to have a go themselves they declined! (They don’t know what they are missing). But may well have persuaded a few people to have ago for charity next year. Anyway enough of my ramblings, just

THANKS to EVERYONE for making it such a fab experience!

I did my first tandem skydive yesterday and want to say thanks to the LPS for an amazing day. It was the third attempt because of bad weather but we got the best day in the end! Thanks to Ralph for making me feel uncannily unnervous on the way up and for inspiring complete confidance, loved it and also thanks to Mark for filming and being so chirpy, I can remember you smiling away during freefall!

I think I will be back again...

Martin - Just cant put into words how amazing the tandem jump was. As you know i jumped to raise money for the M.S society as one of my best friends is suffering with it very severely and she was the inspiration for the jump. With £11,500 raised it became apparent that i would have to follow through slightly quicker than i had anticipated (!) and hence the jump date was arranged. From the minute i arrived this morning,  everyone who works for the London parachute school seemed to go way beyond the call of duty to make sure my nerves quickly disappeared. It was, without a doubt one of the best days of my life. Thank you all so very very much...and as for my screams of excitement... i can only apologise! Outstanding. Brilliant. Can't wait for the DVD!!! Ralph - i don't know how you did it but you managed to put me at ease as soon as we started chatting and i will now say that it is in fact OK to trust a man who says "trust me!"
